A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the Mig-21, NATO codename FISHBED, arguably the most famous Russian fighter. Having entered service in 1959, this supersonic interceptor is still in use and has served in close to 60 air forces over the last 7 decades.
This poster, marked RESTRICTED, was designed for display with limited circulation – very few survive today.
The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape. The poster is unbacked.
