A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the first plane used by the world famous Red Arrows RAF display team. The Gnat was used as a fast jet trainer by the RAF, but was also used successfully in combat by the Indian Air Force in 1965 and 1971.
This poster was designed for display with limited circulation – very few survive today.
The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape.
