A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the iconic HU-I Iroquois, better known as the “Huey” and forever associated with the US military operations during the Vietnam war.
This is a very rare poster – the famous designation “HU-I” was changed in 1962 to UH-I and subsequent printing would have carried this new designation.
This poster was designed for display with limited circulation – very few survive today.
The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape.
