An original 1930’s advertising poster of 8 rectangular panels displayed in a grid, with bold yellow font set against a red background.

“La Raphaëlle” was a plant-based liqueur crafted with over a hundred distinct plants, seeds, flowers, roots, and barks. It was originally concocted by a monk named Brother Raphael for medicinal purposes, sharing a deep regional and herbal connection with the famous Chartreuse liqueur. It later evolved into a popular aperitif enjoyed before meals.

This is an old poster and has spent some time rolled and resting vertically – one side of the poster  shows more impact damage than the other. Thankfully this does not extend into the body of the poster which remains bright and vibrant – a lovely example of lithographic printing.

The poster is unbacked.
