A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the Gannet, a carrier based Airborne Early Warning  aircraft. The Gannet was in service from 1959 to 1978 when the last of the Navy’s fleet carriers, HMS Ark Royal, was scrapped

This poster was designed for display with limited circulation – very few survive today.

The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape.
