A very directional, but also very innovative design from the early 1950s for the trans Atlantic service offered by the United States shipping line. The poster has a very nice, mid century feel to it. Originally printed in 1952, this poster has proved difficult to date and feels like a later re-print. In such cases we always err on the side of caution in terms of pricing, preferring to price at a discount rather than a premium.
The poster is in very good condition, complete and free from tears.
