Progressive and modern in its advertising style and choice of designs, BEA was an early adopter of photographic based posters, steadily moving away from graphic formats. In the modern age when photographic realism is taken for granted in Travel posters, it is hard to appreciate the novelty of this type of poster.

The poster has previously been displayed with tape residue visible on lower corners. The upper section shows surface dirt and some slight water damage. The poster  condition is consistent with its age. It is linen backed and ready frame.
