Beginning in the 1920’s. radio broadcasts spurred a new industry – consumer electronics in the shape of radios. Highly desirable and often the focal point when families relaxed or sought news, radios were big business with advertising budgets to match. This poster for Fornett, in patriotic red, white and blue, strives to show modernity and scientific progress with the image of arials and factories, under-scored with the use of a 3-d front – lovely.
The poster is old but in good condition. There is some slight, age related, weakness at the corners & faint folds are apparent when the rolled poster has had something heavy laid next to it. None of these issues detract from the overall impact of the poster – old tech still appeals.
