A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the first of the legendry “V” Bombers that provided Britain’s nuclear deterrent for much of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
This poster, marked RESTRICTED, was designed for display within the confines of RAF stations – very few survive today, particularly of this very iconic aircraft. This is exceedingly rare.
The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape. The poster is unbacked.
