A large format aircraft recognition poster showing the Scimitar, the strike/interceptor of the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm (FAA) during the late 1950s.
This poster was designed for display within the confines of RAF and FAA stations – very few survive today, particularly of this very iconic aircraft. This is exceedingly rare.
The poster has a central fold and shows its age (see images) with nicks, creases and small edge tears stabilised on the reverse with light, archival tape.
